Here’s what we’ve been having for breakfast lately: Bean smoothie and avocado toast. I enjoy my bean smoothie sweetened and with misugaru. It tastes like a cereal dessert drink but it’s actually quite healthy.
Sweetened version:
1 cup milk of choice
2 heaping tbsp (30g) Korean black soybeans
2 heaping tbsp (30g) chickpeas
Misugaru (roasted multigrain powder)
Maple syrup
Umma’s version:
1 cup whole milk
2 heaping tbsp (30g) Korean black soybeans
2 heaping tbsp (30g) chickpeas
2 tbsp (20g) fermented soybean powder
1 1/2 tbsp (10g) brewer’s yeast powder (optional)
Plus, with some avocado sourdough toast with cheese.
