Personally would go with something with a bit more actual nutrition to it, like maybe a banana, some dried fruit or some honey, instead of just eating high added sugars refined carbs in the morning before a workout

Keep up the great work. Explaining to a bunch of folks with high BMI and a poor diet. They abused their bodies for decades. Theyโve been healthier for a few months. Now they are โexperts.โ LOL
People. IT DOESN'T matter that much WHAT you eat. Your stomach / body can run on ANYTHING. As long as it has some nutritional value (= energy). Some people THRIVE on lucky charms (Dude being the example) others may prefer an apple or a steak or algea salad or whatnot … We are ALL built different. As long as your machinery is running it's all good ๐
Completely valid, it's better to just get something quick with some quick digesting carbs. Even like rice krispies are fire.
Bullshit. No calories, no problems? Tons of problems in the ingredients list of lucky charms and ghost energy drinks. "modified, artificial, sucralose, preservatives, gut barrier disrupters" but yeah, sure, no problems lol.
Dude I deadlift 400 lbs and squat 300 in a fully fasted state and then do an hour of HIIT after that. The body produces HGH, cortisol and glucagon during a fasted state for a reason. I promise you're not gonna die from fasted training. If you cant function without carbs, i think you've got some metabolic concerns to look at. Humans should be able to burn both body fat/dietary fat and carbs for fuel. Leanโ metabolic health.
50,000 years ago we didnt survive periods of famine, long hunts and fasted sprints with our ghost energy drink and lucky charms LOL.
As a result of that, here you are…existing today. A byproduct of highly efficient evolutionary adaptations.
Just have a couple tbsp of honey on some whole grain toast or something if you NEED a carb fix pre workout for better performance. Atleast honey is natural and comes with polyphenols and other beneficial compounds. Lucky charms is just pure fucking garbage mate. May as well eat out of a trash can. Do your workout and eat a large meal afterwards. Your muscles wont wither away in your 2 hour workout if you fueled properly the day before. We store 1500-2000 calories worth of glycogen in our liver and muscles and evolved gluconeogenesis to handle periods of famine. An avg fasted morning workout wouldnt even come close to depleting full glycogen stores. You likely have more stored than you think.
But yeah, have fun with your dysbiotic gut down the line. It'll catch up with ya๐

I agree with the guy in the comments. Neither of these items are Bobby Approved, and not fit for human consumption. If you had listened to my recommendation and tried a brand like Seven Sundays, you wouldnโt have made that mistake with your bike. You would also shave off a solid 20 minutes from your triathlon time.
