Hi Doctor, I always follow your videos. You explain healthy content in such a fun and engaging way, and I hope you continue to create more content like this.
Actually, I didn't know much about intermittent fasting, but from my own research, I understand it involves an 8-hour eating window and a 16-hour fasting window. For example, if I start eating at 11:00 AM, I finish my last meal by 7:00 PM, and only drink water after that. The idea is that the body burns fat for energy during the fasting period.
I have been trying this for the past three days. While I haven't seen any major physical changes yet, I have noticed that my stomach feels much lighter. Usually, I feel heavy after dinner, especially since I often go to bed within 10 minutes of eating (due to my night shifts and PG schedule, I usually eat between 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM). However, in these last three days, my stomach has felt significantly lighter.
I am asking if the method I am following is correct. I apologize for not consulting a doctor before starting this, but due to my night shift schedule, I wanted to try something to manage my weight gain. Is this approach safe and effective?
