Hi, I’m Char I’ve lost 52 pounds since having a heart attack and being diagnosed with diabetes about five months ago. How have I lost 52lbs? Walking lots and lots of walking. I got my butt up off the couch and started moving. I walk 15,000-22,000 steps at least 5 days a week. That along with good nutrition. I started to eat better, healthier a low carb, low fat and low sodium diet. Food that is good for heart, cardiovascular, coronary artery disease and diabetes. Food is medicine. I also do strength training 3 days a week.
