Looks good overall but to get 24g of protein you would be putting one cup (100g) of cacao into one smoothie? Doesn’t seem practical. Commentary seems to suggest you can replace whey isolate with cacao.

Let’s not personify AI please. That’s creepy. It’s a computer. Don’t make it something it’s not.

  4. @samhill6844 says

Dude totally misleading! Right on the cacao ingredients of your own video 24 g of protein in 1,000 g of cacao. That's like 10 cups to get maybe a quarter of your daily protein requirement.

Maybe i wouldn’t be able to follow the exact recipes but i love the idea of throwing a bunch of different stuff in, besides the classic banana based fruit smoothies and experiment . I struggle a lot with protein intake. I have been an egg fan all my life and lately I groan at the idea of having another set of four eggs during the day😂😂😂

Is there a non-dairy alternative to the Greek Yoghurt you use in the second (Mango) smoothie?

  7. @patrickoconnor5494 says

I assume there is a reason you don't talk about calories here as this comes out to 630 cals for about 25g protein which is….mid

  8. @azizkhalifeh3158 says

Great video and nice recipes but there some ingredients especially the seeds I've neveared of, so it will be hard to follow the exact same recipes

Any high protein smoothies safe for Diabetes Type 2 for meal replacement?

  10. @KJDogluv says

No such thing as "anti inflammatory foods"😂 inflammation is a normal body response to certain things. Then it goes away. You are fearmongering

    I needed this ! Thanks Doc ❤

It would be much more useful if you gave the complete macros, not only the protein. These smoothies can be quite calorie-dense and contain substantial amounts of fat and carbohydrates. “HIGH PROTEIN” doesn’t automatically mean suitable for weight loss or nutritionally light.

  15. @madhurivasudevan1228 says

Yumm! Love all the recipes! Appreciate the reinforcement of fiber nuts and seeds! Have a question. In some schools of thought (Ayurveda), adding yogurt to fruit is a “no-no” combination. Can I replace the yogurt with tofu in the mango drink? So excited to share with my family and start today!

  16. @jenniferstrait says

I’ve never seen raw cacao powder or paste have 15-20g protein. Typically 1 TBSP is only 1.5 g of protein. What brand are you using?

Did I find ranvir singh doppelganger 😮

  18. @Aqilah_Safiah says

100g of cacao is a lot no? I thought the daily recommendation for cacao was around 30g

  19. @Jonexotic2006 says

Hey Doc, I lost 10lbs eating your tofu toast, overnight oats and one bake tray of chicken. Thanks!

6 eggs + 5 dates + honey has become my go-to breakfast. Eggs provide cholesterol, which your body uses as a building block for testosterone production, and dates and honey are just a great combo to fuel hard training. Obviously, no single meal is a magic testosterone hack, but if you want to understand the full science behind naturally optimizing testosterone through training, sleep, nutrition, and recovery, Book You Are Stronger Than You Think from Cryptic Lore puts everything together really well.

Milk, whey or yogurt, cocoa, cumin, ground black pepper, peanut butter, banana, or blueberries, cinnamon honey or maple syrup.

  23. @Salma1216 says

What cacao do you use that has that much protein in it because the only one I found was the Navita brand and it only had 3g per serving.

  24. @SK-im8nu says

Hundred gram of cacao powder will be roughly one cup. So I’m not sure if you can rely on cacao powder solely for protein. One tablespoon of cacao powder will roughly give you want 1-2 grams of protein. But I do agree that it has other nutrients like polyphenols and amino acid.

I've been a smoothie master for about 25+ years, as they make my own life easier, but I do love your approach. It makes the process of balancing the elements very easy for people new to making smoothies at home.

I do add things like dates and high quality vegan protein powder, as you do in your bars, but it's great to see whole food ingredient smoothies. 😊

  27. @schahal6127 says

Try unsweetened organic PB powder instead of peanut butter. PB&Me makes a clean one. You get the protein with way less fat 🙂 Thanks for all the awesome content!

  28. @theforgottenordercodex says

literally out of 10 Cacao powders I looked at none of them had more than 2g of protein! How does yours say 24g??

  29. @jilliangrant9730 says

Do you recommend oats in smoothies

  30. @MealsandMundane says

what are your thoughts on levels protein? It's the only one I've found that has higher levels of lysine than arginine (can trigger coldsores).

  31. @katelynnvifquain9629 says

Dairy is mucus-forming, pro-inflammatory, and often has a “tolerable’ leave of pus 🤢🤮 from the very common infections “dairy” cows have from being over-stimulated/over-milked to constantly produce high levels of COWS milk (made for baby cows, not adult humans). So anything with dairy is NOT “anti-inflammatory,” “gut friendly,” or healthy in general. Also, if you’re promoting “anti-inflammatory,” “gut friendly” smoothies … where are the greens?!? 🥬🥒 Check out Dr. Brooke Goldner (“Goodbye Lupus”) who reversed life-threatening lupus more than 20 years ago without any recurrence since, by going vegan and consuming daily smoothies consisting of 75% greens & cruciferous vegetables ⭐️ Take home message: cut out the animal products and add in tons of greens and vegetables to experience true health. 💪
